Next Steps

Students may have received an email message from Cal State Apply to update academic information in their applications.  East Bay makes initial admission decisions based on the information originally submitted and does not consider or review the updated information from Cal State Apply.  Please contact admissions@csueastbay.edu if you feel changes in your schedule negatively affect your admission decision.

91¶ÌÊÓƵ uses self-reported information and a review of partial transcripts with in-progress coursework to determine initial admission eligibility. All initial admission offers are conditional and contingent upon the completion of in-progress coursework and final review of all admission requirements, including evaluation of all official transcripts.

Most applications meet the conditions of admission but occasionally some may not.

Common reasons are:

– Official final transcripts that do not reflect the courses and grades indicated on your admission application

– Failure to complete planned or in-progress courses  listed on your admission application

– Your cumulative grade point average falling below the required minimum
