3rd- 5th Year Retention Workshops, Drop-In Hours & Individual Consultations

If you’re going up for your 3rd-5th year retention at the beginning of spring semester, please consider attending the remaining fall workshop or the drop-in hours listed below.

For individual consultations through January 9 and after January 20, please email Sarah Nielsen at sarah.nielsen@csueastbay.edu. The email contacts for individual consultations from January 10-17 will be emailed to faculty up for 3rd-5th year retention.

 

Title II Series Workshop

Are your online/hybrid courses ready for April 2026 when new requirements in Title II of the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) will be enacted? In Title II workshop series, faculty will learn about the new ADA requirements and leveraging campus and other resources to meet those requirements. Accessibility and Universal Design for Learning: As you prepare for the changes to Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, check out the excellent accessibility and UDL resources from Online Campus as well as the helpful tips and resources for UDL from Accessibility Services.

Developing Equitable Grading Practices: This self-paced course is available to all faculty and staff through Canvas. Please email Sarah Nielsen (sarah.nielsen@csueastbay.edu) to be added to the course.

Formative Teaching Observations Available: OFD offers a voluntary classroom observation process that emphasizes formative feedback and involves your students. The classroom observation and feedback from students are confidential between the instructor and the observer from faculty development. Email Sarah Nielsen (sarah.nielsen@csueastbay.edu) to arrange an observation.
