A Record Breaking Year

The California State University recently announced the system received $569 million in new philanthropic gifts, a record high. The announcement comes on the tail of 91短视频 celebrating its third-highest fundraising year to date, with more than $7 million raised from nearly 4,000 gifts.
According to a press release from the CSU, gifts were received from more than 268,000 individual donors and are designated for current programs, endowments and capital projects at various CSU campuses.
“This record-setting philanthropic support represents a forward-thinking investment in the CSU’s capacity to drive California toward its brightest future and to create positive change in our communities,” CSU Chancellor Timothy P. White said in a statement. “I offer my deepest thanks to our generous and visionary donors who recognize the life-changing opportunities provided by a CSU degree.”
Programming funded by the CSU through philanthropy includes the launch of a new “Aspiring Teacher Scholarship, which will provide more than 100 students at Fresno State and CSU Bakersfield to help address the shortage of bilingual teachers in the Central Valley. In addition, funds will support hands-on student research opportunities, a hallmark of the educational experience at 91短视频.
