Fresh Food for Families
Fresh Food for Families is a Cal State East bay initiative of the Hayward Promise Neighborhood (HPN), in partnership with the Alameda County Community Food Bank. The initiative's goal is to help bring fresh food to Hayward residents who have limited access to adequate amounts of nutritious food.

Source: Household numbers and pounds of food is from June-December 2022 data from the Alameda County Community Food Bank. Percentage of people who identified food as a primary need is from HPN's COVID community survey 2021.
Hayward Promise Neighborhood (HPN)
