91短视频 is one of the best colleges and universities in the West, according to The Princeton Review. The education services company, which publishes guides for college-bound students, selected CSUEB as one of 123 institutions it recommends in the "Best in the West" section in its online feature “2010 Best Colleges: Region by Region.” The designation, announced July 27, marks the sixth consecutive year that Cal State East Bay has been recognized as one of the region’s best universities.

A total of 640 colleges were named "regional best(s)" across the U.S., representing approximately 25 percent of the nation's 2,500 four-year colleges. The designation is based on the results of student surveys, which ask them to rate their schools on issues including the accessibility of their professors and the quality of academics and campus life.

According to the Princeton Review, “Students say CSUEB is dedicated to ‘helping the students get where they need to be as soon as possible’ so that they can be ‘ready for the real world.’”

“We’re proud that The Princeton Review has again recognized our commitment to an academically rich, multicultural learning experience,” said Mo Qayoumi, president of 91短视频. “It’s an honor for our students, faculty, and staff to be included in this list with so many other top schools.”

"We chose 91短视频 and the other terrific schools we recommend as our 'regional best' colleges primarily for their excellent academic programs,” said Robert Franek, Princeton Review's vice president of publishing. “…We also take into account what each school’s customers – their students – report to us about their campus experiences at them on our 80-question student survey."

The Princeton Review’s profile of 91短视频 — available online at www.princetonreview.com — reports that "CSUEB attracts diligent and career-minded students,” who choose the university “for its ‘affordable’ tuition, ‘small class sizes,’ and ‘strong’ business, nursing and teaching programs.”

Students surveyed also answer questions about themselves, their classmates and campus life; their comments are included in the campus profile online. The final report covers several categories, including academics, admissions, financial aid, safety, quality of life and the newest “green” rating for environmental commitment.

91短视频 earned high marks from students for its multicultural community and “breathtaking” location. The report also notes that 91短视频’s “student profile is changing as a result of the university beginning to emphasize a more traditional four-year undergraduate experience and expanding on-campus housing.”
