Hayward, Calif. (AP) — Cal State East Bay says an estimated 140 non-teaching employees will lose their jobs or see their work hours cut as the campus grapples with steep cuts in state funding.

CSU East Bay officials said Tuesday the work force reductions will go into effect June 30. The university is still determining which employees and exactly how many will be affected.
