Train exhibition, 'Wayward,' two art shows, symphonic concert highlight spring arts

“All Aboard! The Impact of Trains on American Culture” continues through June 11 (except for May 29-31) in the C.E. Smith Museum of Anthropology, Meiklejohn Hall (MI) 4047 on the 91短视频 campus. The exhibition includes dozens of never-before-displayed model trains - some handmade - from a 500-piece collection of antique tinplate toy trains and HO models assembled over a 93-year lifetime by model railroading pioneer Richard “Dick” Wheeler of Monrovia, CA. Admission is free.
The annual Bachelor of Fine Arts exhibition of student work in the University Art Gallery, Arts and Education Building (A&E), is already open from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays, through April 22. Admission is free. The second art gallery show — the juried student exhibition — will be May 19-June 3.
The Theatre and Dance Department’s annual spring faculty dance concert, “Wayward,” is set for May 7-8 and 14-16. CSUEB's symphony orchestra will perform its final concert of the academic year June 3.
