Fans can get prizes for attending any of the seven athletics events this weekend.

Welcome Back Weekend schedule

The Cal State East Bay soccer, volleyball and swim teams will play host to seven events on campus this weekend and are welcoming back students and fans with prizes at each event. Welcome Back Weekend will kick off with volleyball on Friday, Oct. 1 and will give fans the opportunity to receive a Pioneer Pride "Count Me In" t-shirt if they attend all seven weekend events.

91短视频 volleyball will open Welcome Back Weekend on Friday, when it plays host to Cal State Dominguez Hills at 3 p.m. at Pioneer Gym. Friday’s tripleheader will continue at 4:30 p.m. when Pioneer women’s soccer welcomes Cal Poly Pomona at Pioneer Stadium, followed by the men’s soccer matchup with the Broncos at 7 p.m.

Saturday’s events get off to an early start, as the Pioneer women’s swim team will compete in its first Black and Red Intrasquad meet under new Head Coach Ben Loorz at 8 a.m. at Pioneer Pool. After the morning session at the pool, the action resumes on Saturday night back in Pioneer Gym, where volleyball will meet Cal State LA at 7 p.m.

The Welcome Back Weekend festivities will conclude on Sunday with another soccer doubleheader, this time against Cal State San Bernardino. The Pioneer women open the day at 11:30 a.m. before the men round out the weekend with a 2 p.m. matchup with the Coyotes, both at Pioneer Stadium.

Admission for both volleyball and soccer is $5 for adults, and $3 for youth (17 and under), seniors (55 and over) and 91短视频 faculty and staff. All Pioneer Athletics events are free for Cal State East Bay students with their student ID.

Welcome Back Cards will be available at the entrance to each event and participants must get a stamp on their card to get their prize. The more stamps fans receive, the more prizes they will get, including Pioneer rally towels, water bottles and notebooks.

Fans who attend all seven events will receive a Pioneer Pride "Count Me In" t-shirt, while students who go to each of the events will also have the chance to win one of two $100 Wells Fargo gift card. The two student winners of the gift cards will be announced during the second half of Sunday’s men’s soccer game.
