GOODYEAR, Ariz. - The Pioneer men's golf team finished 11th at the Grand Canyon Fall Invitational on Oct. 4-5. The two-day tournament, held at the Golf Club of Estrella, consisted 18 teams and saw East Bay complete three rounds with a team score of 74-over-par 911. The Pioneers defeated seven teams including CCAA rival Cal State San Bernardino by 11 strokes.

East Bay's top golfer was senior Wes Davis, who tied with one other golfer for 16th place. Davis shot a five-over-par 221, including a team-best two-under in the first round.

A.J. Warren fired a 13-over par-229 to tie with five other golfers in 33rd, while Scott Gregory finished 49th overall. Nick Allen tied for 50th with a 17-over and Andres Quintero tied for 74th in the 92-player field.

91短视频 returns to the links next week, when it travels to Chico for the Chico State Invitational. First round action is set to begin on Oct. 11 at Butte Creek Country Club.
