- October 13, 2014
91短视频 will host its annual graduate school fair on Thursday, October 23, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held in the walkway by the Pioneer Bookstore, University Unions and Meiklejohn Hall and is open to all CSUEB students and prospective graduate students on a walk-in basis. No registration is required.
Each year, the graduate fair attracts hundreds of students, giving them an opportunity to meet with representatives from CSUEB’s 30 graduate programs and 70 graduate and professional schools from across the nation, including those in the CSU and UC systems. Students can obtain information about admissions requirements, costs, financial aid and more.
This year the graduate fair also runs in conjunction with a career fair held by CSUEB’s career center, making it a "one-stop shop" for graduating seniors, says Dr. Donna Wiley, senior director of Graduate Studies and Academic Programs. "It’s helpful for students to have access to graduate school information and career information at the same time because it provides a link between grad school and their career path," she says.
Wiley also advises students to prepare before they come to the fair. "They should do some research beforehand so they know not only what kind of graduate program they are looking for, but also what kinds of questions they should be asking of prospective schools," she says.
In addition to attending the graduate fair, students can learn more about CSUEB’s graduate degree programs by visiting the Office of Graduate Studies website at , emailing APGSstudentservices@csueastbay.edu, calling 510-885-3286, or visiting the Academic Programs and Graduate Studies Student Services office in Student Service Building, Room 4500.
