Art work by Cal State University East Bay (CSUEB) faculty and staff is on display at a new exhibit on the CSUEB campus. The annual 2014 Faculty and Staff Exhibition features sculpture, paintings, several large-format pieces, collage, photography, graphic digital prints, installation work and more. Located on the ground floor of the Arts & Education Building, the exhibition is open to the public. Admission is free.

Highlights of the exhibition include "Stones In the Water," an acrylic and wax pastel on gatorboard by Grace Munakata, painting and drawing instructor; "Tea Ami or Enjoy Every Sandwich," a sculpture combining mixed metals, ceramics and wood by John Poole, ceramics instructor; "The Big Red One," and "Here Come The Girls," two oil paintings by Kirk LeClaire, drawing and painting instructor; and "Prototype One," a performance and multi-media sculpture by Ian Pollock, multimedia instructor.

"There is a high level of creativity presented in this year's show," said Anne Hartwell, assistant curator. "The pieces are very diversified, and visitors can glean a great deal from attending our exhibit that they may not have considered before," she said.

The exhibit is currently open and runs through Nov. 25. Regular gallery hours are Monday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
