In 1977, Elana Hobson, BS, business ('95) and MBA (’97), joined Jack in the Box as a team member at the Hayward location.  More than 30 years later, the 91短视频 alumna has taken over as Vice President of Operations for Division II and now manages 1,200 franchised and company restaurants in five Western states. 

In her 32-year career with Jack in the Box, Hobson has risen through the ranks as team leader, store manager, and regional manager.  In 2003, she was promoted to vice president of the company's North Coast region, which included more than 160 restaurants in Northern California and Hawaii. She relocated to the corporate offices in San Diego in 2007 as Division Vice President of Guest Service Systems. She served as the company's Division Vice President of Operations Initiatives before receiving her recent promotion to Vice President of Operations for Division II. 

Hobson is also an active civic leader and sits on the California Diversity Council board of directors.
