Our Philosophy
MISSION
Student Leadership and Involvement Center (SLIC), formerly Student Life and Leadership Programs, provides opportunities for student learning beyond the classroom and enhances the mission of the university by coordinating and supporting a variety of special programs that promote campus life, leadership, and community engagement.
Program areas include New Student Orientation, Parent & Support Programs, Transfer Student Programs, Recognized Student Organizations, and Leadership Initiatives. SLIC oversees the recognition, maintenance, and development of student clubs and organizations. SLIC supports and promotes lifelong leadership development, hosting a variety of student leadership conferences and workshops throughout the year and coordinating with various campus partners to host a diverse variety of campus life programs and events.

To create a warm and welcoming campus community where students recognize their potential and are supported by the community in their efforts to achieve their dreams, goals, and aspirations.
