How do I certify for my courses?

Students (veterans and dependents of veterans) who are eligible to use VA Education Benefits must complete the Veterans Educational Benefits Certification Request (VEBCR) form in MyCSUEB. The form must be completed each semester after enrolling in classes*.

To do this, Log into MYCSUEB > Click on 'Academic Records' tile in the dashboard > On the left side of the screen, select 'Veteran Benefits' > Then click on 'Certification Request' > Fill out the form and submit

Please Note: Students receiving only the Cal Vet Fee Waiver are NOT required to fill out the certification request. Please contact our office for more information.

*The VEBCR form only needs to be completed if you’re enrolled and requesting VA payment.
