Human Development Scholarships
Human Development majors at CSU East Bay benefit from the generous support of alumni donors. The Department administers the McHugh and Feldman Scholarships, which are outlined below. Human Development majors are eligible to apply for a wide array of scholarships, including the McHugh and Feldman scholarships, through CSU East Bay’s Pioneer Scholarships site. The application deadline is in March 2025. Awards will disburse in the Fall 2025 term.
The Sheila McHugh Scholarship
The Sheila McHugh Scholarship provides scholarships to students at CSUEB to encourage them to pursue the highest degree of excellence in their academic and professional careers, and to promote social responsibility in the areas of women's education and global population control. The Martin Feldman Scholarship
The Martin Feldman Scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in Human Development. Preference is given to applicants who have demonstrated a strong commitment to work in the helping professions, resolving critical societal concerns, or graduate work in some helping profession.
