International Application & Document Deadlines

International Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply as early in the application period as possible. Once the applicant has been admitted and an I-20 has been issued, it can take several weeks to obtain a visa.

Below are general international deadlines, but some academic programs may have earlier deadlines and deadlines are subject to change. Each graduate program may specify a different deadline and some programs accept applications in fall only.  See the Graduate Program Directory for which term each program typically accepts applications.
