BSN Programs
The Pre-Licensure program consists of two years of prerequisite requirements and two and one half years of nursing courses. Students graduate from this program with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree. Students with an LVN license may apply to the LVN-BSN Pathway within the Pre-Licensure program. Nursing courses include both on and off campus experiences and incorporate simulation, interventions lab, community engagement and clinical experiences in local hospitals, community health agencies and retirement communities.
The Post-Licensure programs are mostly online programs that consist of one year full-time or two years part-time of advanced nursing courses. Students who attend already have a California RN license and an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN). Curriculum includes online courses that incorporate health assessment, research, leadership and critical thinking skills and one one off-campus community experience course. After completion of community health and earning the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, students are eligible to apply for a California Public Health Nursing Certificate.
