Parking Permits
How to Display Your Parking Permit
These are the following ways to properly display your parking permits:
Hang Tags - Student Semester, Faculty/Staff Semester and Faculty/Staff Annual parking permits shall be displayed in the following way:
- Suspended from the rearview mirror, hanging, fully visible and facing the windshield.
- Placed on the driver's side dashboard of the vehicle, face up, fully visible, and in such a way as not to obstruct the Vehicle Identification Number.
Daily/Hourly Permits, Visitor One-Day Parking Permits, Temporary Parking Permits and Official State Business Parking Permits shall be displayed in the following way:

Student Parking Permits
- Starting Fall 2016, purchase your parking permit online. These parking permits are only valid in General (student) lots. Be sure when entering a lot you that you have read the red and black signs stating what parking lot you are entering and be sure the sign reads General (student) lot. Doing this will save you the frustration of receiving a citation.
- A student parking permit is only valid in a faculty/staff lot after 5:00 PM Mondays-Thursdays. Students will be cited accordingly if parked in a faculty/staff lot before 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday). View locations of general lots.
- A permit is not required after 5:00 PM on Fridays, all day on the weekends and any holiday the University is closed. (See Holiday Schedule calendar here.)

- Department of Rehab Students - Please contact your counselor to have a check made out to CSUEB. Once you get your check you can purchase a semester permit at University Cashiers, 1st floor SA Building.
- Veteran Students - Please contact our department or Veterans Student Services for more information.
Student Visitor Daily/Hourly Parking Permits
Students, faculty/staff, and visitors may purchase a daily or hourly permits at a dispenser for $2.00/hour or $10.00/day. The dispensers are located in parking lots A, G, K, N and at the kiosk on the right side at the top of Harder Rd. View map for dispenser locations.
All dispensers take credit cards, coins, and bills (exact change only.) Please note the dispensers are not contact less, if you use a credit/debit card it needs to be a physical card (no Apple Pay/Google Pay option).
Daily permits are only valid in General (Student) Lots. After 5:00 PM Mondays-Thursdays, these permits are also valid in Faculty/Staff lots.
Semester Parking Permits
All semester permits when purchased become personal property of each owner. The University is not responsible for lost or stolen permits. There are no refunds on permits.
Employee Parking Permits
Faculty and Staff permits may be purchased through the Cashier's Office located in the Student Services and Administration Building lobby. First stop by Payroll/HR office on the 2nd floor for your pink card verifying your bargaining unit. Take that card to Cashier's.
Semester Permits may be paid by cash or check only.
Annual permits may be paid by cash, check or payroll deduction if you qualify.
If needed, call parking and have your bargaining unit ready to provide to a parking staff member and they will provide you with the permit price: 510-885-3790

There are no refunds on permits.
Please note if you separate from the University, you will need to turn in your Annual Permit to the Cashiers office on your last day worked if you enrolled in payroll deduction. (Annual Permits paid in full or Semester Permits do not need to be turned in.)
Motorcycle Parking Permits
Students: Motorcycle semester permits can be Or if you purchase a Student semester vehicle parking permit you can add on the motorcycle permit at no additional cost. After your purchase, stop by our office (or email parking@csueastbay.edu) to register your motorcycle with us. We will need the motorcycle license plate # and your information.
Faculty/Staff: Purchase through the Cashier's Office and register your motorcycle with Parking.
Motorcycles must be parked in a motorcycle parking space, not in a vehicle parking space. Parking lots with motorcycle parking are: A, B, C, G, H, J, K, L & M. There are also motorcycle parking spaces on West Loop Road by Meiklejohn Hall and across the street from the University Union. Please see this map for motorcycle parking on campus.
Emeritus Parking Permits
If you are interested in a temporary parking permit, contact AcademicAffairs@csueastbay.edu.
This permit is not meant to be used in place of a regular parking permit during any periods of teaching, such as in FERP, nor is it transferable to any other person. (For FERP see below.)
FERP Employee Parking Permits
Faculty who FERP (FACULTY EARLY RETIREMENT PROGRAM) may purchase a Semester or Annual Permit through the Cashier's Office located in the Student Services and Administration Building lobby. Please note there is no payroll deduction option for annual permits.
First stop by Payroll/HR office on the 2nd floor for your pink card verifying your bargaining unit. Take that card to Cashier's.

Other CSU Parking Permits
For visitors to our campus (conferences/meetings,etc.), we validate any other CSU permits for one day, as long as they fall under the required dates, for our semester system at 91短视频.
If the CSU permit is Virtual (no physical permit) please contact us at parking@csueastbay.edu before coming to campus as we will need additional information.
Contractor and Visitor Permits
If you are a contractor or visitor that will be parking on our campus for any length of time, please make sure the department or office you are working with secures a parking pass for you. Each department on campus is aware of the procedures needed to make sure you have a parking permit. Please be sure the day before you are scheduled to be on campus that you have called your designated department office and made plans for obtaining the permit for the day(s) you will be on campus.
