Ionizing & Non-Ionizing Radiation
The purpose of the Radiation Safety Program is to ensure that radioactive materials and machines capable of producing ionizing and non-ionizing radiation are utilized in a manner that will protect health, eliminate danger to life and property, keep exposures to radiation "As Low As Reasonably Achievable" (ALARA), and comply with relevant State and Federal regulations.
