FOR ACADEMIC ADVISING:
For example, help with selecting POSC and/or Breadth classes, seeing if you're on target for graduation, questions about transfer units, annual check-ins
- If you have already been assigned a specialized advisor (i.e. Athletics, EOP, EXCEL, GANAS, PIAA, Renaissance, Sankofa, Veterans Affairs, or ADT) meet with them.
- If you have not already been assigned a specialized advisor, contact Dr. Sharla Blank (sharla.blank@csueastbay.edu), our POSC specialist advisor, or other advisors in the CLASS Advising Center (class_ssc@csueastbay.edu).

FOR CAREER ADVISING:
For example, questions about your POSC major or selecting your major concentration, career and employment advice, graduate school advice, letters of recommendation, etc.
Students are designated a Faculty Advisor based on the first letter of their last name. Students may meet with more than one faculty for any of their current or past professors or general advice or letters of recommendation.
