Bay Area Archaeological Archive
The C. E. Smith Museum of Anthropology maintains artifact collections and archival materials from archaeological sites in the San Francisco Bay Area. Many of these sites were excavated between 1965 and 1996 by students and faculty of the Department of Anthropology; others were excavated by local cultural resource management firms in the early 2000s and the materials are curated by our museum.
